Join local outdoors writer and trained naturalist Jamie Siebrase for a fun, interactive talk about wildlife viewing with kids in Colorado. Topics include preparation, safety, and stewardship, and guests will leave with a list of the best local wildlife-viewing destinations for families and first-timers.
Jamie Siebrase is a longtime Denver journalist, trained naturalist, and author of several guidebooks, including Hiking with Kids Colorado: 52 Great Hikes for Families and Exploring Colorado with Kids: 71 Field Trips + 142 Nature-Inspired Activities, as well as the children's picture book Tonight! A Bedtime Book. Books will be sold at the event, and you may also borrow titles through DCL.
Please note: This program is geared toward adults, but children are welcome to attend. Activities for kids will be provided. When registering, be sure to include all attendees in your family.
