This class is for adults. Open up the possibilities of color through the playful, hands-on process of collage.
This class introduces approachable methods for understanding how colors behave and influence one another, based on the legendary artist Josef Albers's color experimentations. Using cut paper and simple materials, you’ll create a series of collages that reveal surprising color relationships and visual effects.
No prior experience is needed—this workshop is designed for all skill levels and focuses on exploration over rules. Fun for artists and non-artists alike, you'll leave with a set of finished collages and a clearer, more intuitive sense of how to make color work for you in your life and artwork.
