Through dynamic storytelling, period costumes, and vivid character portrayals, this engaging program brings to life a handful of fearless women who defied expectations and left lasting legacies.
During the performance, you'll meet the following:
- Captain Jack, a sharp-witted prospector and entrepreneur who turned mining—and tourists—into opportunity
- Mother Jones, the fiery labor activist who fearlessly fought for workers’ rights in early 20th-century Colorado
- Rattlesnake Kate, the indomitable homesteader whose legendary encounter on the Eastern Plains made her a folk hero
- Lola Montez, the flamboyant dancer and actress whose fame and scandal captivated audiences during the Gold Rush era.
This entertaining and educational performance celebrates courage, resilience, and the untold stories of women who dared to live boldly in the American West.
