Mary R. Lanni is a librarian and book reviewer in Colorado. She believes passionately in the importance of cultivating early literacy, especially as a way of improving individual lives and society as a whole. Her new book focuses on the place Nursery Rhymes hold in our modern society, and how they help shape the next generation through the use of songs and rhymes.
