Event Hall A - Highlands Ranch

Join us for an educational program that offers an informative and hopeful overview of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Participants will learn the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia, common types of dementia, warning signs and risk factors, and how a diagnosis is made. The presentation also covers current research and treatment updates, communication and interaction tips, and local community resources. Designed for adults of all ages, this session empowers attendees with practical knowledge and actions they can take to reduce dementia risk and better support those living with dementia.

Presented by JJ Jordan, Community Chair of Dementia Friendly Denver and an experienced dementia educator and family care partner.

Our expansive library features interactive children’s areas, flexible meeting and community spaces with state-of-the-art technology, laptop borrowing, and a furnished terrace with shade structure. This library is also home to the Healthy Critters Vet Clinic play area for kids.
