Award-winning author Jacqueline St. Joan's memoir explores what she saw from the bench in 1990s Denver, including protest cases, those involving domestic violence, and public controversy. It also explores her life as she moved through courtrooms, feminist organizing, motherhood, an interracial marriage that reshaped family ties, and questions of identity, justice, and belonging. She was inducted into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame in 2024. Books will be sold at the event.
