Join us each month for a hands-on DIY experience for adults and teens! 

Get inspired by Creativebug - an online database offering thousands of craft classes free with your Douglas County Library card - and create something new alongside fellow makers. Each month we will feature a different project, from jewelry and painting to paper crafts and more.

This month's project: Junk Journaling

Turn everyday papers and found treasures into a one-of-a-kind journal! In this creative workshop, you'll learn the basics of junk journaling as you layer vintage-inspired papers, book pages, stickers, and other decorative accents into a personalized keepsake.

All materials will be provided.

About the branch

Our light-filled library includes a spacious Kids Corner area with dedicated Storytime space and Everbright—a Lite-Brite-inspired interactive wall. Informal and formal meeting and event spaces are also available to the public, as well as laptop borrowing. This library also features the Little Savers Bank & Market play space for kids.
