From Starter to Loaf

Event Hall A - ParkerThis class is for adults. Discover the art of artisan breadmaking with Forest Trail Farm!
Learn how to feed a sourdough starter, mix and stretch dough, and prepare loaves for baking. During the class, you will work hands-on with your own dough ball, then take it home to shape and bake the next day. Participants will also be provided a banneton bowl where your loaf will rest during it's final rise, or proof.
Cost: $25 per person
Please Bring: a large mixing bowl, a hand towel to cover it, and a dough whisk (not a bulb whisk)
Recommended for Home: 8" cast iron or Dutch oven, U.F.O. scoring lame, tall quart wide-mouth jar (for starter), bench scraper, and bowl scraper
