Spring Birding at Bingham Lake
Sunday, May 17
8:00am - 10:00am
Join Denver Audubon for a guided birding tour at Bingham Lake in Parker.
May is an especially exciting time to explore nature, as migratory birds pass through and local wildlife becomes more active.
We will meet at the main parking area at Bingham Lake Park (12021 Pine Drive, Parker, CO 80134), where restroom facilities are available, and depart from there. Plan on a slow-paced, approximately 1-mile loop walk along a mostly flat crushed gravel path. Some areas may be uneven or muddy depending on recent weather.
As we stroll around the lake, we?ll be on the lookout for birds, bugs, and native plants along the path, exploring a variety of habitats including wetlands, open water, shoreline vegetation, and surrounding grasslands.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and sunscreen. Binoculars and cameras are encouraged.
Everyone is welcome, and all experience levels are invited to join!
